ResData is a Library service for managing UNSW research data. The service has two main components:

  • - enables UNSW researchers and HDR Candidates to create a Research Data Management Plan (RDMP) by recording metadata about projects and associated data. Completion of an RDMP is a requirement for allocation of storage in the .
  • Publish research data - enables UNSW researchers to describe and upload data for publication to , a discovery service for Australian research data.

The service is supported by the (ANDS) through the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy Program and the Education Investment Fund (EIF) Super Science Initiative, as well as through .

The Data Publishing component of ResData is no longer accessible. A new data publishing platform will be released in December 2021. If you require support/options for publishing your data, please contact Library ResData Team.
